This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Iglesia Restauración En Cristo (also known as Restoration In Christ Church, a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization — hereinafter “IREC”, “the Church”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal information you provide when you consent to receive text (SMS/MMS) messages from us.

This policy applies uniformly across all of our official web properties, including but not limited to: IglesiaREC.org, IglesiaREC.com, GoRICChurch.org, and GoRICChurch.com. Message frequency varies based on the categories you opted into. Typically fewer than ten (10) messages per month. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan; the Church is not responsible for charges assessed by your carrier.

Consent to receive text messages from IREC is never a condition of purchase, donation, membership, participation in any ministry, or receipt of any service or good from the Church.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent record with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We use trusted communications-infrastructure providers (specifically Twilio Inc.) to deliver text messages on our behalf. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations and may not use your data for their own purposes.

We retain your mobile number and opt-in consent record for as long as your subscription remains active plus a reasonable audit period after opt-out (typically 24 months) required to demonstrate compliance with U.S. carrier and TCPA regulations.

No system is fully secure; however, we implement industry-standard practices including encryption in transit and access controls.
