Reach Our Community

Share The Gospel

At Restoration In Christ Church, we believe every restored life has a story to share. Evangelism is about carrying the love, hope, and truth of Jesus Christ into the lives of others. Whether you are new to sharing your faith or ready for the next step, grow with us, learn with us, and reach others with compassion, courage, and grace.

You do not need to be a preacher; simply be a witness. Your personal story has the potential to transform lives.

Why Share the Gospel?

Jesus instructed us to go into all the world and make disciples. Sharing the gospel is simply informing others about the impact Jesus has had on your life, and inviting them to experience Him as well. As Mark 16:15 says, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

“They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.”

Revelation 12:11

How to Share the Gospel

The Call to Be a WitnessStep 1
Step 1

The Call to Be a Witness

You don’t need a pulpit to change a life. While a salesperson argues and debates to make a sale, a witness is simply a reporter of reality. Your purpose is to share your personal transformation, not to win an argument. A witness is defined by having:

  • Encountered Jesus
  • Observed transformation
  • Heard His voice
Structure Your Story (The Four Chapters)Step 2
Step 2

Structure Your Story (The Four Chapters)

Here’s a guide on how to share your personal testimony:

  • Before Christ — What was your life like before you met Jesus? (Focus on feelings like loneliness, searching, or lack of peace.)
  • The Turning Point — What events or realizations led you to begin seeking a connection with God?
  • Your Encounter — When and how did Jesus become a concrete, real presence in your life?
  • After Christ — How has your life transformed? What freedom and deliverance have you found?
Extend the Invitation (The Prayer)Step 3

Extend the Invitation (The Prayer)

Once your story is shared, invite your friend to start their own journey. Simply ask: “Would you also be interested in developing a personal relationship with Jesus?” If they say yes, guide them in the simple Sinner’s Prayer, in four steps:

  • Acknowledge God And Your Standing — “Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and that my transgressions create a separation between us.”
  • Repent And Declare Jesus Is Your Lord And Savior — “I confess and declare that Jesus is my Lord and Savior and that He was resurrected from the dead.”
  • Sever Ties With Darkness — “I renounce all agreements with the world, with the darkness, with my earthly desires, and with the devil, and I establish a new covenant with You, Lord.”
  • Request Your Name In His Book — “I humbly ask You to write my name in the Book of Life. I trust that, if I were to depart this world today, I would find myself in heaven, in Your arms. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
Discipleship and Follow-UpStep 4
Step 4

Discipleship and Follow-Up

The story doesn’t end when the prayer is over; the new life is just beginning. Should someone dedicate their life to Jesus, walk alongside them as they start their journey:

  • Help them find a local church campus.
  • Encourage prayer and scripture reading.
  • Invite them to attend church with you.
  • Provide ongoing support through consistent communication and follow-up.

A Prayer For A New Beginning

“Lord Jesus, I Believe That You Died On A Cross And Rose With Power. Forgive My Sins And Renew My Heart Today. I Surrender My Life To You. Be My Lord And Savior. Change Me And Remake Me, Help Me To Serve You And Be Faithful To You. In The Name Of Jesus, Amen!”

The Gospel · Good News

God's love, explained in four words

The Gospel — Greek for "good news" — is the oldest and newest message in the world: God loves you, your sin separates you from Him, Jesus died and rose for you, and today you can respond. It is not a religion you follow; it is a relationship you begin.

God · Created by Love

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (John 3:16). You were created in God's image, with a unique purpose, to live in relationship with Him. Everything your heart longs for — meaning, love, peace — points to the One who made you.

Sin · The Break

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Sin is not just doing bad things — it is a heart condition that separates us from God. No amount of human effort can repair that break. We needed a bridge.

Jesus · The Bridge

"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures... and was raised on the third day" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus lived the perfect life we could not, died the death we deserved, and rose to give us eternal life. The cross is the bridge God built toward us.

Response · Today

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is not earned — it is received. You can pray that prayer today, wherever you are, and begin a new life right now.

Verse of the Day

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.”— Romans 8:28
